# Global Development & Maintenance Tracker

This document serves as a central log for all major feature enhancements, bug fixes, and refactoring initiatives for the Growcruit platform.

## How to Use This Tracker

1.  **Create a New Initiative:** When starting a new task (e.g., a new feature, a major bug fix), copy the `--- INITIATIVE TEMPLATE ---` at the bottom of this document.
2.  **Place it Appropriately:** Paste the new initiative under the `[In Progress] 🚧` section.
3.  **Fill in the Details:** Update the title, goal, and add tasks as you work.
4.  **Log Changes:** As you modify files, add them to the `Affected Files` list.
5.  **Mark as Complete:** Once all tasks and follow-ups are done, move the entire initiative block to the `[Completed] ✅` section and update its status and completion date.

## [In Progress] 🚧

### **Initiative: CV Search Package Refactor**

- **Status:** In Progress
- **Goal:** To fix the broken CV unlock logic and implement a proper system for tiered CV Search packages with specific unlock limits.

#### **Completed Tasks:**

- **[✅] 1. Database Schema Update:**

  - **Change:** Added a `cv_unlock_limit` (integer, nullable) column to the `packages` table.
  - **Purpose:** To store the specific unlock quota for a package.
  - **Action:** Resolved an unrelated migration conflict to allow the new migration to run successfully.

- **[✅] 2. Admin Panel Refactor:**

  - **Change:** Made the admin package form dynamic to show/hide fields based on package type.
  - **Purpose:** To create an intuitive UI for managing different package types.

- **[✅] 3. Controller Logic Update:**

  - **Change:** Updated `PackageController` to correctly save data from the new dynamic form.
  - **Change:** Rewrote the `unlock()` method in `CompanyController` to be robust, handle unlimited quotas, prevent duplicate unlocks, and provide clear user feedback.

- **[✅] 4. Frontend View Correction:**

  - **Change:** Updated the "CV Search Packages" page to display the `cv_unlock_limit` and correctly render a company's available quota (e.g., "1 / 30" or "1 / Unlimited").

- **[✅] 5. Data Integrity Fix:**
  - **Change:** Manually verified and updated the `cvs_quota` in the `companies` table for all companies who purchased a CV Search package _before_ this refactor.
  - **Purpose:** To align existing user data with the new system logic.

#### **Affected Files:**

- `database/migrations/YYYY_MM_DD_HHMMSS_add_cv_unlock_limit_to_packages_table.php`
- `database/migrations/2024_03_21_000000_add_razorpay_paytm_fields_to_site_settings.php` (Modified to resolve conflict)
- `resources/views/admin/package/forms/form.blade.php`
- `app/Http/Controllers/Admin/PackageController.php`
- `app/Http/Controllers/Company/CompanyController.php`
- `resources/views/company_resume_search_packages.blade.php`

#### **Remaining Tasks:**

- **[🔲] 1. Fix Purchase Logic:** Update the payment/order controller(s) to ensure that when a _new_ CV Search package is purchased, the `packages.cv_unlock_limit` value is correctly saved into the `companies.cvs_quota` field.
